Tiles...... so many decisions

Having made the decision to go with Masterton - it was back to the drawing board with selections ......so many decisions :-)

Masterton use a company called Don's Tiles - so off we go (poor Glenn) to check out what they have available. The tile below is the sort of tile I want to finish off the bathroom - it is going to be white wall tiles - so I thought that this would just finish it off (let me know what you think :-) (the floor is still a bit of a decision)

Then there is the floor - OMG - that is expensive. Masterton have a package using 500 x 500 porcelain tiles - exclusive to  them - see below - I was going to do it afterwards - but we have over 100sqm of tiles to lay..... so maybe this will be OK

We've settled on Masterton Homes :-)

well after paying a $1,000 deposit to Wisdom Homes and having a plan that I thought was my dream home.... the tender came back .... and well things weren't quite right.

So after more searching Glenn & I visited the Masterton display home at Gledswood Hills. It was a mistake actually - as the home I wanted to look at was at Oran Park ...oops....

anyway we met Sandra at Homeworld South - Gledswood Hills... and she was great ......and now after a few visits we have settled on a modified version of the Symphony Grande :-) 

Today we paid our $3,500 to get our plans drawn up an the ball rolling. I have to say - I am very excited now 

We own a piece of dirt

Well this is the beginning of a new chapter in our life. After the trauma of the last 12 months we decided that our life needed something positive........

so I said to my dear wonderful husband.... lets build a house :-) what was I thinking ...... LOL 

Today we settled on our land in stage one of Fernville in Pitt Town.

...... so join us on our ride - I am sure it won't all be plain sailing ( I am realistic) ... but the end result will definitely be worth it (let hope so)
