Pre-Planning Stage

Mid August 2012 - Sandy sees a block of land at the new release of land at Vermont estate - Pitt Town - which starts the ball rolling - Lot 1011 Fernadell Drive, Pitt Town.

23/08/2012 - mad dash to Kellyville to speak to Colt at Wisdom Homes (who was awesome) to see if we could fit a house on the block.

27/08/2012 - Meeting with our fabulous mobile ANZ lender - Nicky Cooper (you angel :-)

7/09/2012 - verbal confirmation that our loan approved - we are now mortgaged to the eyeballs :-)
12/09/2012 - written approval - the journey can BEGIN !!!

Our unit listed for sale - OMG - this is REALLY HAPPENING

18/09/2012 - contracts exchanged on OUR LAND

September 2012 - we loved the Sorrento - but Colt modified the Esperence 29 (ROL) 17m to suit our block

27/09/2012 - OUR LAND HAS SETTLED - we now own a block of dirt

1/11/2012 - Meeting with Tender Presenter at The Ponds

We decided that that $300 per room paint colour change was going to be just the beginning of silly charges - so back to the drawing board as far as a builder.

3/11/2012 - went in search of a new builder - like the Overture & the Symphony by Masterton - off to check them out. Made a mistake by going to Gledswood Hills instead of Oran Park - to view Symphony - fortuitous - as Sandra Dobe our consultant has been great :-)

11/11/2012 - tender presentation on Symphony Elite - we wanted to make all the rooms bigger - back to the drawing board - Symphony Grande

26/11/2012 - $3,500 deposit paid to Masterton for plans to be drawn up

19/12/2012 - our unit sold - we now have $$ to build our dream home :-)

07/02/2013 - Visit to Masterton HO - sit down with Andrew Zelko - draftsman - to make changes to plans and signing of contract

22/03/2013... FERNVILLE Land draw..... sadly we didn't win :(

09/04/2013 - Q Central meetings at Norwest

15/04/2013 - Don's Tiles appointment at Narellan 

16/04/2013 - Appointment with Jan from  Artline Kitchens at Norwest

19/04/2013 - Visit to Masterton - Colour Selections

29/04/2013 - Appointment with Ben from Artline Kitchens to finalise kitchen plans

12/06/2013 - plans submitted to Hawkesbury Council for our DA

25/07/2013 - Appointment with Your Home Consulting for electrical

03/09/2013 - signed and approved DA back at Masterton
whilst we had a verbal approval almost a month earlier - it took this long to get through Council...

6/09/2013 - Block pegged out by Masterton Surveyor

CONSTRUCTION STAGE

9 / 10 / 2013 - site scraped
